David THELIM

South Artist painter born in 1966 in Marseille. He is particularly interested in the representation of the multitude in a saturated space, as well as in the representation of resemblance and difference that exist side by side.
His favourite themes can take him from figurative to totally abstract expression.
The work of this artist is often associated with literature :
A collection " DIRE LA PEINTURE " retraces the artistic career of David THELIM in association with writers such as Jean Christophe DUCHON DORIS writer (Goncourt prize for short stories), Jean CONTRUCCI, novelist, Jean-François MEYER, gallery owner, Julien Blaine, artist from Marseille, Aurélie BIAGGINI journalist.

One of his gouaches was selected as the theme for the « Sebastograph French short story competition » in 2013.
In 2016 he published "La foule de mes semblables", edited by Arnaud Bizalion, and co-written with Ludovic Duhamel and Marc Spaccesi.
